National Minimum Wage
Labour intend to raise National Minimum Wage Rates by removing the lower bands to create one hourly rate for all workers (currently the 21+ rate).
Trade Union Membership
Trade Union Membership will be added to the essential content of the Section 1 Statement, which must be given to all workers on or before day one of employment
Collective Redundancy Consultation
Labour plan to change the law on collective redundancy consultation so that the obligation to collectively consult will depend on the number of people impacted across the business, rather than in one workplace.
