Employment Rights Bill

Here is an overview of the Employment Rights Bill that was formally announced in parliament on 10 October 2024. The Bill has completed its journey through the House of Commons and is now at the Committee Stage in the House of Lords. The whole house will now examine the Bill line by line beginning on 29 April 2025; the second meeting was on 8 May and the third meeting is scheduled for 13 May 2025. The aim is for the Bill to have completed its journey through Parliament and to have received Royal Assent before the summer recess. I will update these pages as the Bill passes through parliament.
